Ganoderma Lucidum - The King of Herbs, Why?

What makes this amazing herb Ganoderma Lucidum "the King of Herbs?"
What is the power behind the building up of the immune system that Ganoderma Lucidum possesses?
What is Mycelium and how does it affect the immune system?

Where Ancient China meets modern Science, Ganoderma truly is the mystery of the east revealed. In China it's considered a national natural treasure. What is Ganoderma? In Cantonese, "Lingzhi or Reishi", is the name for one form of the mushroom Ganoderma Lucidum. It enjoys an honourable place in Asia, where it has been used as a medicinal mushroom in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 4,000 years. In China it's known as the "Miraculous King of Herbs". The scientific name "Ganoderma" is derived from the Ancient Greek "bright shiny skin". The word "Lingzhi", in Chinese, means "herb of spiritual potency" and has also been described as "mushroom of immortality".

There is much publicity about this amazing herb. It is now found in beverages such as coffee, tea and hot chocolate, in beauty bars, capsules, tooth paste and lotions. It has taken North America by storm and has become a household item in medicine cabinets around the world. Why? Because it's power punch is felt instantly when ingested and also when applied to the outer skin. Why does it have such an impact on the human body?

Mushrooms are the "fruiting body" of a fine root-like network called Mycelium, which is the actual fungal organism that can provide incredible medicinal benefits. Mycelium produces unique compounds, called polysaccharides, that are currently a major focus of study because of their potential as a preventive measure and as a first line treatment of cancers and other degenerative diseases.*Products containing Mycelia are currently on the cutting edge of new supplement development and are revolutionizing the medicinal supplement industry. There is ample historical evidence to suggest that Mycelium can help combat even the worst of diseases that were previously thought to be untreatable.
The health benefits of these mushrooms are due primarily to their polysaccharide components, as well as the production of many other beneficial compounds. Polysaccharide compound are long starch molecules that spark immune action that can help protect us against invading germs and abnormal cell divisions. These molecules help persuade the body to create beneficial T-cells. These powerful immune fighters destroy microscopic invaders and may help to slow or stop the production of abnormal cell growth.

Oriental mushrooms can help boost an individual's immune system, and may result in dramatic recoveries from a host of conditions. The ingredients in this formula:

# Effectively boost the immune system
# Inhibit pathological immune functions in autoimmune disorders
# Reduce histamine release, which is associated with allergic reactions
# Increase antibody production
# Are currently being studied as potential powerful virus and tumor fighters
# Stimulate an increase in T-cell and interleukin production
# Helps the body fight bacteria and other invaders

In our evergrowing complex Society the invasion of cell phones, computers and other technological advances are a constant threat to our immune systems. The threat of overexposure to harmful ultra violet rays, toxins and environmental hazards are present everywhere, in the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. We need to take action to protect our bodies from these ever present threats. Keeping our immune system fine tuned is more important now than it has ever been in the history of mankind. Our continued good health and the health of our future generations depend on our taking preventative measures NOW! Nature is a self-healer and oriental mushrooms play an integral role in the balancing of the human body.

Are You a Seller or Inviter - What is the Difference?

My father once said to me “Joan, you could sell refrigerators to an Eskimo." Was it a compliment or not? That depends. If you had to be obnoxiously persistent and it was necessary for the purchaser to say yes just to get rid of you then it was no compliment. Just selling for the sake of making a sale is no feather in your cap. Repeat business will not likely be coming your way any time soon. People do not like the pushy sales-man type.

So the big question is, should Network Marketers be Sellers or Inviters? How responsive do you think people will be if you try to push something onto them that they do not want, whether it be a product or a business opportunity? Do you think it is possibly one of the reasons why Networking gets a bad rap and why reps get discouraged and quit because no one wants to get involved in what they are promoting? If so, what can a person do to create a need for what is being offered without sounding like a salesman? Everyone has different wants and needs. You cannot approach every person in the same way. It is imperative that you get inside the head of the person you are approaching to find out their concerns and interests. Here is an example of what I am driving at. I am a woman who is very conscious of putting my best foot forward when I am out doing my business. I have a favorite place where I like to shop for my clothes. When I first went into the store I was approached by a sales person with a warm smile and he introduced himself and asked me my name. He asked me if I was looking for anything specific and I told him I wanted a business outfit. Instead of taking me to a rack of clothing he stopped and asked me what type of business I was in. Before I knew it he had me engaged in a conversation telling him all about myself and what I did for a living. After some time had passed he went to a rack, took off a business suit and said to me “I think this would look very professional on you, why don’t you try it on and see if you do not agree with me.” BINGO! He had my attention. I tried it on, it was perfect in every way. He had accomplished three things, he had made a friend, he had gained my confidence and had made a longstanding customer who delights to drop by from time to time just to say hello. He is planning to retire soon from the clothing business and is taking a serious look at joining me in my business.

When most Networkers are asked what they do they blow it. They fumble with words and inevitably say they are a distributor, network marketer or salesperson for a company. That is an immediate turnoff for most folks. As an inviter it is your job to show interest in others and try to help them with their concerns whether it be health or an income opportunity. You are the ‘Inviter’ so lets see how we could invite someone to look at our opportunity by befriending them first.

A lady is standing in line at the bank with her little daughter. An opportunity presents itself as the little girl is asked her name by the teller and politely responds. How would you use this as an opportunity to make a contact? You could comment by saying this to the woman, “Hi my name is Joan and I could not help but notice how politely your little girl answered the teller when she was asked her name. That is very rare to see today in young children. You must be very proud of Jodi (mention the little girl‘s name..).” How do you think the mother is going to respond? You have just opened a door to get to know a little more about her by asking her some questions such as “ You must spend a lot of time with Jodi. Do you work out of the home or are you a stay at home mom? She will reply and either way you open the opportunity for more conversation. During the course of the conversation she asks what you do and instead of saying you are a network marketer or a distributor for a cosmetic company etc. you could simply say this, “You know how many people would love to stay home with their kids and contribute to the family income. I help them to do that.” You now have piqued their interest and it would be best at this point to give them your business card and ask if you can have their information so you can call and set up a time that is convenient to the both of you to talk further and answer any questions she may have. Do not go into you pitch right away. Remember you are inviting them to take a look at their convenience.

If you are talking to a baby boomer and are asked what you do you could respond this way. “You know over the last couple of years people have lost a lot of money through investments in retirement plans, 40l k’s and the stock market. I help people to recoup that money.”
Talking to an employee you could say, “You know how many people worry about losing their jobs, well I help people formulate a Plan B”.

When you get their name and phone number and promise to follow up make sure you do so. If you are tardy and procrastinate they will pick up on that and will not feel you are a person of integrity because you do not keep your word. If you are really interested in helping them and have a solution to their problem you have to make them aware of your concern for them.

So again I ask you this question, are you a Seller or an Inviter? It does make a difference and you will see your business take on a whole new dimension if you invite people to take a look rather than try to sell to them.

The Do's and Dont's of Networking

I just heard a horror story. A lady joined a networking company and proceeded to sign up all her relatives and friends, paying for their enrollments and packs to become business builders in her company. Another person joined multiple online programs spending thousands of dollars trying to implement a online source for enrolling people in their business. Others have spent thousands of dollars on website design hoping to attract thousands of people into their MLM business.

What is wrong with these scenarios? Too many people get involved in Network Marketing or MLM's not knowing what they are getting into or how to do the business. There is a right way and a wrong way to network. People need information and you are the tour guide. You do not have to twist someone's arm to get involved in your business or buy them in or spend a fortune driving people to your website. Network marketing is a people business and you have to build a relationship with individuals first and grow your business from a know, like and trust standpoint. I have had multiple people in MLM companies call me and try to get me involved telling me how simple it is and how I can make wheelbarrow loads of money by virtually doing very little. Just bring in two people, sit back and wait to see your organization 'EXPLODE'. Nothing could be further from the truth. Have you ever heard people refer to Network Marketing or MLM's as a pyramid or Get Rich schemes? I hear that all the time. Why do we get a bum rap from these type of people? There are a couple of very good reasons.

1. They have been misinformed by other people.
2. They have not done their due diligence.
3. GREED.

Lets examine each of these scenarios and see what we can learn.

1. They have been misinformed by other people.

Throughout the years I have been around MLM marketing. I have heard the pros and cons of Networking and have come to the conclusion that in every industry there are horror stories to tell, there are good and bad companies out there. Would you just let anyone paint your house or fix your car? Most of us rely on the good reputation of a company before we embark on their services. We would also ask for references or find out from others if they are reputable or check with the Better Business Bureau about their reputation. We do not categorize every painter and every car repair service as bad because some are. So why do we do that with MLM companies? There are very legitimate companies in the Network Marketing field that provide excellent products and services at very reasonable prices, products and services that cannot be just purchased anywhere. When someone has a bad experience they love to tell others and it spreads like wildfire and most often the facts are twisted and the story is so blown out of proportion that it becomes a juicy piece of gossip for all who will listen and not taking the time to examine the facts.

2. THEY HAVE NOT DONE THEIR DUE DILIGENCE.

You are very ill. You need advice on how to best treat your illness. Your best friend has a son who has just started medical college. You feel because he is in medical college you can get some FREE advice. After all he must know what he is talking about because he is starting medical college. Wrong! He needs to do his due diligence before he is qualified to give advice on anything. That will take years of training and education before he becomes a reputable doctor with the qualifications to treat you.

Network Marketing or MLM is no different. It is very important to get properly trained to effectively network and share your opportunity with others. Education is an ongoing learning process and because the world is constantly changing, we need to continue to update our knowledge. When you are looking for a network company to join make sure you have proper sponsorship. Talk with the person who wants to enroll you, ask them questions, find out how active they are in the business, how capable they are of training you and what their level of commitment is to helping you. I would even suggest that you ask for a three-way into their upline so they can edify your potential sponsor and give you the confidence you need to become a part of his or her team. A qualified sponsor will plug you into the company's system and teach you to duplicate what they do. They will also recommend you reading books and listening to CD's and plugging into conference calls and attending Company events. I read or listen to CD's and videos every day and continually work to fine tune my networking skills. It is a very competitive world out there and everyone needs to keep up with the newest and most effective way of building their business.

About the Company: You need to investigate the integrity of the Company you want to join. Check with the Better Business Bureau of your community. Listen to some webinars before you join. What product are they selling? How consumable a product is it? What is the cost to get started and are you getting value for your investment? How lucrative is the pay plan? Check out the compensation plan very thoroughly. After all you want to know how much money you can make and how long it will take to make the money you want to make. All of these things are so very important if you want to be successful at what you do. Do not jump into anything on the advice of a well meaning friend. Do your Due Diligence and you will be ready to embark on a Networking career that will reward you for the work you do and provide you with residual income that will continue to grow and pay you for a life time.

3. GREED!

Buyer Beware! If it sounds too good to be true it usually is too good to be true. I constantly get emails in my email box touting the newest and greatest opportunity that will net you thousands in such a short period of time and make you a millionaire at the blink of an eye. Do not get sucked into such an opportunity. You are asking for trouble. Opportunists are a dime a dozen and these are the types of businesses that scam people out of their hard earned money and give Networking a very bad name. Especially in this soft economy people are desperate for find ways to keep the wolf away from the door and are very vulnerable to smooth talking people who promise the moon and give nothing in return but heartache and an empty wallet. Remember you must check out the integrity of the company, the viability of the product, the reliability of the person introducing the opportunity to you and the pay plan of the company. You also must be prepared to dedicate yourself to building your business for a period of two to three years, committing to working hard and continually educating yourself as you grow your business.

Are you prepared to meet the challenge of becoming a successful network marketer? Then the world of Network Marketing is your playing field. There are many viable companies out there looking for you. Do your due diligence and you will find the right company for you.

Healthy Alternatives-Do They Really Work-Why the Scepticism?

On Friday and Saturday my husband and I set up a booth at a vendor's year round market to introduce a natural health herb to people passing by. It is ironic that we are the very first booth before entering the double doors into the main market area and right beside us through a set of doors, is a major drug store. We are appalled at the number of sick looking people who pass by our booth and do not even look in our direction. Many of them have very sad and dejected looks on their faces and we know they are dealing with major health issues. They come out of the drug store loaded down with prescription drugs, hoping upon hope, that this is the answer to getting them feeling better so they can get their lives back to normal.

My question is this, why do North Americans wait until they are confronted with illness before they try to do something to correct the situation? Never before has the health care system been so taxed financially as it is right now. Lack of funding and government money is causing a problematic decline in health care and many people cannot even get a doctor when they are ill.

We now know so much more about the human body and how to keep it healthy. Today there are so many alternative health care products on the market that boost the immune system, detoxify the body and provide antioxidants and nutrients to fine tune our bodies. In the Orient people go to the doctor, not to get cured but to find ways to keep their bodies healthy. It is called Preventative Health Care! In this country the need to do this is more urgent than ever before. Just take for instance the obesity problem among our young people. When we put our bodies under stress from over eating it causes us to have escalating health problems. It is estimated Childhood obesity increased from 5 percent in 1964 to about 13 percent in 1994. Today, it is about 20 percent - and rising.

This report was released last March:
March 2010
Shortchanging America's Health

A State-by-State Look at How Public Health Dollars Are Spent

A March 2010 report from the Trust for America's Health (TFAH) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) found federal spending for public health has been flat for nearly five years, while states around the country cut nearly $392 million for public health programs in the past year. These cuts leave communities around the country struggling to deliver basic disease prevention and emergency health preparedness services.

So how does one learn to live healthier? With the increase of toxic chemicals in everything we eat from fresh, frozen and canned foods many people just decide to live life and take their chances that their constitution is strong enough to combat any negative consequences that may develop from an unbalanced diet. This is not a good option and we need to carefully analyze what we can do to become healthier and stay that way.

The Chinese herb Ganoderma Lucidum (Red Reishi) has been scientifically researched as a normalizing substance - a nutritional supplement that can yield medical benefits through its normalization and regulation of the body's organs and functions. The role of Red Reishi in maintaining a healthy lifestyle can best be explained through the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) point of view because none of the known active components taken alone is as more effective than the consumption of Reishi itself. Whereas Western medicine focuses on the "cure" after the disease has already occurred, TCM, established through over 2,000 years of human observation, focuses on disease prevention by sustaining the right balance within the body through proper nutrition, exercise, and meditation. Reishi is an important adaptogenic herb in TCM in helping the body maintain this balance and also restore the balance when one is sick.

My name is Joan Maxymuik and I have because of necessity, investigated healthy alternatives that could improve my failing health. Self education is a must in this changing world and preventative health care is of prime importance among families living in North America today.

How Vulnerable is Your Retirement Nestegg? What is your Plan “B”?

Where did the American Dream go? How can one feel so secure one moment and so vulnerable the next? The empty nest syndrome has hit Retirees big time. Looking after their families and helping them get on the right path, supplying financial and emotional support for their educations, many older folks are now in need of help themselves. Many are having to go back to work after retirement. One couple was interviewed on a news program and the husband is working at MacDonald's to try to keep things together after losing hundreds of thousands of dollars when his 401K bottomed out. My heart ached for him and his wife because their situation had become so dire.

Fortunately there is a solution to this escalating problem. Thousands upon thousands of people have decided not to rely on their pensions or a minimal paying JOB to carry them through their golden years. Their nest eggs have vanished but not their determination. Many retirees are developing the Entrepreneurial spirit and have decided to set up businesses working from home. They have the grit and hard work ethics to turn a home based business into a huge success. Mom and Pop are learning online marketing skills and computer programming to help them. Many like myself are designing and setting up websites to introduce their businesses to a huge offline and online market. Really when you think of it, this is one of the best things that could happen in a person's golden years, here are some reasons why:

1. You are constantly using your brain. When we retire that is the time we need to exercise our brain like any other muscle in our bodies, helping us to stay mentally alert and warding off diseases like dementia and alzheimer's disease. Starting up your own business is a good way to keep your mind keen and alert.

2. Many people when they retire decide it is time to 'retire from life'. Their best friend becomes the T.V. set and they allow the boob tube to become their means of communicating with the outside world. A big mistake! We need to interrelate with human beings one on one. Having a home based business is one of the best ways of keeping the lines of communication open. My husband and I are constantly meeting new people, making new friends, growing our business and replenishing our nest egg. You can too.

3. When we retire our dream is to travel and see the world. My husband and I have done more traveling since retirement than at any other time in our lives. What has made this possible is the opportunities to travel to different places where conferences are being held. At these conferences we are constantly being trained to further develop new skills and ideas to grow our businesses better and stronger. We have met new people and have had a lot of fun going to new places. We traveled to the Grand Canyon, visited Vegas, California, Texas, Michigan, etc. We are planning a trip to Ireland in the late fall. All of this paid for through our home based business and it is a complete tax write off. WOW! A dream that really has come true in our retirement.

4. Want a tax shelter? Start a home based business in Network Marketing and you have so many expenses you can write off to offset your income. It is truly the best way to take yourself through your retirement years and give you back some of your hard earned money.

5. All of this sounds really exciting you may say, but I could never do it. Yes you can. We did! It was a learning curve but one that is truly rewarding and with so much available on the internet it is very easy to plug into training systems that teach you step by step how to succeed in building a home based business. Put your Plan “B’ into action, you will be glad you did.

I am known on the Internet as "Java" Joan. Recently I embarked on a mission to share the failures and successes of my journey in the Network Marketing Industry. A Healtier Way To Start Your Morning

From the Canadian Business Journal
Author: By Jennifer Sorlie

It is instant, which initially made me doubt its validity
as a good coffee. That’s because any real coffee drinker
knows instant is inferior, and should only be consumed in
the most urgent of circumstances.

The date was April 14, 2010—just over four
months since Richmond, B.C.-based Organo Gold
Coffee officially launched the product. It’s rare to
get samples with a story assignment but, as I was
about to realize, I wasn’t dealing with a normal
company profile. I came into work at 7:30am and
headed into the kitchen as per my regular morning
coffee routine. Except this morning, instead
of filling my mug with a percolated French roast, I
added a package of Organo Gold Black Coffee to
a cup of boiling water.
The day before, I had already interviewed
Shane Morand, co-founder and global master distributor
of Organo Gold, so I had an idea how this
experience would go. Morand told me it would
look and taste exactly like gourmet coffee, “if it
didn’t, how would it sell?” he asked rhetorically.
Still, I was sceptical; after all, other instant coffee
brands sell in grocery stores all the time.
As the granules dissolved into the water, I
smelled a familiar scent. Coffee! I felt more awake
already. But I still had to taste it. To my surprise, it
was fine; actually it was good. Morand was right.
“Good for you, Jennifer,” says the reader. “You
enjoyed a cup of coffee.” You’re right, reader, I
did. But I also enjoyed that this particular cup
of coffee didn’t dehydrate my body and it didn’t
give me any heart palpitations. As I said, this isn’t
regular coffee.

The difference:

That fact that you can’t taste the ganoderma
is a good thing. If you could taste it, I suspect
the product would go right to health stores and
people would drink like they drink wheatgrass
juice. I’m getting ahead of myself, because in all
likelihood, only a handful of you know what I’m
talking about—I didn’t know what it was until a
few weeks ago.
Morand explains it like this: “Ganoderma is
the highest-ranked herb in the entire Chinese
pharmacopeia; it is known as the miraculous
king of herbs.” This mushroom—‘Lingzhi’ or ‘Reishi,’
in Cantonese—has been used in traditional
Chinese medicine for more than 4,000 years.
The scientific name, ‘ganoderma,’ is derived from
the Ancient Greek, meaning ‘bright, shiny skin.’
Ganoderma is known to regulate the immune
system and is used to treat ailments ranging
from stress-related conditions to fatigue and
sleep disorders. “Our coffees, teas, hot chocolates,
lattes and mochas are delivery mechanisms
for 100-per-cent-certified organic ganoderma,”
Morand maintains, “so people can enjoy
all of those benefits.” Sounds great, right? Yes and no.
“The challenge in North America is that not even one
person in 10,000 has heard of ganoderma,” says
Morand. “Here we are with the closest thing to
MAy 2010 • The Canadian Business Journal 7
nutritional perfection found in nature, and few
know what it is. We are working on spreading the
message through word of mouth.”

A wide-open market:
The great news is Organo Gold is in the right
business. Morand estimates that between Canada
and the United States alone, more than a
half-billion cups of coffee are consumed daily.
“We’re all drinking coffee. The question is
whether it is making us feel good or not. North
Americans don’t talk a lot about the negative
impacts of coffee, but we know it reduces the
body’s pH balance, affects the nervous system,
dehydrates us and, over time, ages us faster. It’s
not that we’re against caffeine altogether, but
we are positive about the effects of ganoderma.
We’re entering a wide-open market, but we’re offering
something healthier,” he says.
Wide open indeed. Even though Organo Gold
is a Canadian company, it is growing internationally.
“We’re marketing in Canada, the U.S., Jamaica,
Peru, Bahamas, Germany, Netherlands,
Austria, and the Philippines; and we’re just getting
started,” Morand boasts. “People all over the
world drink coffee so it’s the perfect commodity.”
Although the product was officially launched
in January 2010, the company started operating
in June 2008. “It took us a year and a half to determine branding,
build a compensation plan, move the product, build warehouses,
perfect our shipping and test the product,” explains Morand.
“But we officially lifted the gates this year. Since
then, sales have exploded. We knew we had a
great product and a great management team,
but we’re still blown away by the response and
the speed at which we’re expanding. We’re emptying
warehouses everywhere, so we’re definitely
ahead of target.”
Organo Gold is certainly off to a great start
and I can see why: it tastes good and it’s good
for you. Since I first tried the coffee (about two
weeks ago), I have enjoyed it at least a half-dozen
more times. To get more, i would have to contact
a local representative, as the product is sold
via direct sales (think Avon model). If this product
line tweaks your interest, make sure to check out
want to hurry though. From what I understand,
it’s flying off the shelves. CB

Are You Planning for Retirement-- How?

The dream of most people facing retirement is to live their lives the same as they did before retirement, giving up nothing, but relying on their nest egg and pensions to kick in to allow them to enjoy retirement to the full. This dream is quickly being shattered for many because of the downturn of the economy. Let's just hit on a few of the problems facing retired people.

1. Pension Cutbacks. Some people who have worked for years are finding upon retirement that pensions are being cut and in some cases completely eliminated. People who have relied on pensions to compensate for the loss of income from their jobs and also have invested their money in plans such as 401 k’s to cushion their retirement, are now facing a cruel reality.
People are out of pocket huge amounts of money due to ponzie schemes and other setbacks due to the soft economy.

2. Too Much Debt. Borrowing money is the number one killer of retirements plans. Many people go into debt to buy a home or large ticket items such as college or university tuitions. Also debt is often used as a crutch for enjoying a lifestyle that is in reality not affordable for the average person. Living beyond one’s means has been the norm for many people and they have been caught up in paying these debts off over a long period of time, increasing their debt load by thousands of dollars because of interest charges.

3. Champagne Taste on Beer Income. Living beyond one’s means is a quick way to eat up your savings and cut into your retirement income. You do not have to give up everything you enjoy, but it is a time to tighten your belt and use common sense when planning out your budget. You should make an attempt to scale back on entertainment expenses. Boredom can quickly set in after retirement and it is easy to fall into the trap of spending time and money to compensate for not being busy working at your job anymore. Have you ever noticed that restaurants are still full of people eating out? Just check when you go into a restaurant at how many retired people are occupying a table. Many retired people no longer cook for themselves and spend hundreds of dollars a month eating out, thus increasing their expenses and eventually the debt load starts to rise and their budget suffers. Perhaps a plan "B" would eliminate a lot of boredom and money woes.

4. Prioritize Your Time and Money. Every parent wants their child to have a good start in life. Unfortunately many parents make the mistake of cushioning their children from reality and paying for their college or university costs, at great sacrifice to themselves. Time and again retired people exhaust their hard earned savings to make a more comfortable life for their children . We all want our children to be more successful than we are, but that doesn’t mean we need to sabotage our retirement plans to make this happen. The cold hard truth is that your child can borrow his way through post-secondary education, but you cannot borrow your way through retirement. Look after your retirement first, then save for your child’s tuition. You need to plan for tomorrow. No one else will do this for you. What is your Plan "B"?

What is your Plan “B”? If one finds himself boxed into a situation with no hope of recouping financial loses, what can be done? My husband and I were in that situation due to a loss of employment just 6 months after our marriage. Due to circumstances we were forced into early retirement. Our savings depleted fast and we knew we could not survive on our small pensions so we started looking for another income stream. We were introduced into Network Marketing and I must say it was daunting a first but 10 years later, we have built a strong business and have never looked back. It has been the best Plan "B" for us and I am confident you too can enjoy the benefits that working from home and owning your own business can bring. Oh and I forgot, being your own boss is heaven sent.

Networking for Success - How?

Increasing online visibility is the goal of every successful Online Marketer. Without visibility, you have no traffic and thus no business or sales. The good news is there are many options out there, but there is little time for most people to put in the necessary due diligence to become a overnight networking success. Where does an online entrepreneur turn first to get the visibility and traffic to promote his online venture?

The Internet is virtually being flooded with new gimmicks and tricks to get you sucked into their next best venture. Sad to say most of them are not viable solutions for helping you and are so complicated that it takes a rocket scientist to figure them out. In my business, I've discovered that there are a handful that are able to stand the test of time. Some have been around for as long as websites have been around, while others are newer kids on the block. Here are my 5 most effective strategies to massively boost visibility for your online business.

1. Press releases. Press releases are a well-known marketing strategy that have worked for years with print and broadcast media. In recent years they have found new life as an online visibility tool. Your release should contain something that is newsworthy that has been optimized with a select few keywords by which you want your business to be found. Don't waste your time submitting your release to the free press release sites -- the release simply sits on the site and goes no where else. Instead, invest in a fee-based service which will ensure your release gets the recognition it deserves.

2. Social Networking. Social networking now ranks near the top in terms of attracting visibility to your business for a very low cost. If you don't yet have accounts on the two most popular social networking sites Facebook and Twitter, that is a must. Newer social sites such as Sokule, Direct Matches and People String are just a few of many places where you can interact with people to build relationships leading to introducing your business to them through groups or networks, sharing resources, and asking questions. A minimum of 15-30 minutes each day dedicated to Social Networking is a must before you will begin to see the results you are looking for.

3. Article Marketing. Writing and submitting articles to major article directories is an excellent way to become more visible online. Article marketing will drive traffic to your site, establish you as an expert in your target market's eyes and provide people with informative content. To be highly effect your article needs to contain a strong resource box that drives traffic back to your site, needs to contain useful content that solves a problem of your target market. I find writing in a format like you see here attracts readers because it is in point form making it easier for the reader to digest.

4. Blogging. If you are promoting your business you must devote time every day to blogging. It is one of the most popular and successful ways to get the exposure you are looking for. Blogs use RSS feed technology to immediately get new posts and updates out to your blog subscribers through a feed reader. Search engines index blog posts almost immediately, which helps you generate traffic to your website. The important key to blogging is getting return visitors so your content must be fresh and informative to keep visitors coming back. I have found that adding a little humor really adds some spice to your blog and puts a smile on many a weary face.

5. Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Optimizing your site or your blog for organic, naturally-occurring, searches has been around from the beginning of Internet marketing. Use a keyword research tool and create a listing of keywords applicable to your Business Opportunity. Don't forget to add things like "how to", "tips", or short descriptions of your target market's problems to your research. Then, take a look at your page titles, page descriptions, page headlines, and formatted text on a page (bolding, italicizing, underlining) and include your keywords in those areas, as well as sprinkling 1-2 keywords throughout the content of your page. Make the SEO appear to be natural, not forced, and the search engines as well as your visitors will love you.

I spent a total of three years trying to learn how to market effectively online. I finally found out how to get the most out of the volumes of information available for Online Marketing. I hired a coach and mentor to teach me the necessary skill sets for survival in one of the fastest growing industries today “The Internet.” In my next article I will give you some more tips on how to survive and become an overnight success tapping into the most challenging and diversified mode of doing business in the 21st Century, you had better learn to master the “demon” because it is not going anywhere and will only be a thorn in your side until you become it’s master.

The Internet is constantly changing so these series of articles will at times reflect my frustrations and my triumphs as I weave my way through the learning curve to becoming a successful Internet Marketer. Your work is never done, it just faces the challenge of being adaptable and having the courage to master the next hurdle you face on the ever changing Internet highway.

According to Wikipedia, Coffee is the second-most-traded physical commodity in the world!” Considering the other commodities are oil, gold, silver, wheat, and corn; you get an idea of exactly the kind of popularity and demand coffee commands. Virtually everyone drinks coffee! Even for the tiny, tiny minority who may not drink coffee, they’d have to be from another planet to never have heard or seen people drink that black java.....It is estimated that there are 255 million coffee drinkers in North America. Coffee is big business!

Coffee facts.....

But isn’t “Healthy Coffee" an Oxymoron?
Although there has been some controversy surrounding the subject, most health practitioners would assert that drinking coffee is not good for health for a number of reasons. Coffee can leech vital alkaline minerals (like calcium, magnesium and potassium) and water-soluble B vitamins from the body, making it a contributing factor to an overall overly acidic condition. Plus, coffee can deplete the adrenal glands and energy stores, thus weakening the immune system over time.

In addition to the adverse health conditions that long-term coffee addiction can cause, the caffeine contained in coffee can cause a host of negative side-effects, such as: nervousness, jitters, acid reflux, upset stomach, headache, irritability and insomnia. Despite its generally acknowledged adverse health effects, coffee is the second most consumed beverage in the world, and most people who drink it consider it a necessity rather than a luxury, making it the most popular addiction in the world!

Baby Boomers! You can stop the clock. How?

Baby Boomers! You Can Stop the Clock - How? retirement

'Youth is wasted on the young,' we have all heard that statement many times over. Many of us have said if we had our lives to live over again, we would do it differently. Is that a true statement? If it is why are we doing the same things that we did in our youth?baby boomers sun

* When we were young we spent hours soaking up the sun, do we still do that unthinkable thing? I saw a friend of mine a few weeks ago and she is at least 20 years younger than myself but her skin was so wrinkled and lined I was shocked. What had she been doing to cause that? You did not have to ask her, the color of her brown complexion told the tale. Many of us defy Father Time, many of us think it will only happen to the other person, but when all is said and done we are looking in the mirror and the person looking back at us has become a complete stranger, reality sets in.

* What about that second Martini or nightcap before bed? The older we become, the higher the likelihood of alcohol related aging skin. Alcohol is a toxin and is notoriously dehydrating - regular drinking means deeper lines and facial wrinkles. Alcohol also depletes calcium levels and causes bone loss thus hastening the aging process. Could changes in lifestyle slow this aging process down?

* Stress is becoming a real epidemic today. What causes stress? Lifestyle wants are a big factor. During this past year the downturn of the Economy has caused many people to simplify their lives. A family interviewed on Channel 4 News told their story. They were living in a million dollar house and had the life style to match. When the Economy went sour they lost everything. They are living now as a family of five in a trailer park in a small mobile home. Both the husband and wife said even though they have lost everything and their three children had to give up so much, as a family they are happier and closer together because their life is simpler and they have more quality time together as a family. Reducing stress from your life can be a big factor in slowing down the aging process.

* Do you eat your veggies? veggies 2 Antioxidants are so important to keep your body in top condition. Did you know that 99% of people in North America have acidic bodies? The lifestyle we live and the foods we eat contribute to a toxic body that not only cannot perform at ultimate levels but does just the opposite, causing our bodies to age. Fast foods cause overweight and undernourishment to our bodies.

All of the above and more contribute to a life of fast aging and wrinkled skin to go along with it. Can we turn back the tide and slow down the aging process. Yes we can, how? By reducing stress in our lives, eating a healthy diet and taking supplements that nourish the body and replenish our cells. Our bodies need to be well oiled fine tuned machines. If we put junk oil into out automobiles how long would it be before there would be serious problems that would interfere with the smooth running of our vehicle? Our bodies are no different. We need to treat our bodies with the utmost respect and care. The choice is up to us.

We have this one life to live, lets live it well!

Is there a product on the Market that can reduce aging and help our bodies to become healthier? Yes there is. Ganoderma Lucidum - The Body Rejuvenator

Deep in the forests of China are the Wuyi Mountains and Ancient records tell of a rare mushroom, 'Ganoderma Lucidum' that grew in the imperial palace, which is said to account for peace during the Handi-Wudi Epoch. A man named Pengzu, who was from the Wuyi Mountains was said to have lived for hundreds of years, with the face of a child, never looking old, and owed it to Ganoderma Lucidum. He said, he kept himself in good health by taking Ganoderma Lucidum, drinking the chute and living as a recluse. This by some, may sound like ancient folklore, but for those who regularly ingest this amazing mushroom Ganoderma Lucidum, the man Pengzu spoke the truth and the Ganoderma surely rejuvenated his body.

What makes this rare, sought after herb so potent and necessary for maintaining good health?
After using this amazing herb for seven and more years, I am amazed at its ability to regulate and strengthen the body. My husband and I are avid believers in the importance of exercise.
Before going to the gym we would take ganoderma supplements and we noticed that we could increase the strength of our weight lifting and exercise for longer periods of time. We also felt more energized and noticed the positive effects that both the ganoderma and the exercise were having on our bodies.

One day we were able to put our observations to the supreme test. We were unable to get our ganoderma products for approximately six weeks and after running out of our reserved supply, going to the gym became an exhausting ordeal. Three days after running out of our supply we noticed we could not lift the same amount of weights and we felt very tired at the end of our routine. After day five things took a turn for the worse. We had to cut our exercise routine in half and reduce our weight lifting by half. We were in shock and felt like our bodies had lost all the momentum that we had gained when on the Ganoderma. We finally were able to get more product and after just 2 days of being back on the Ganoderma supplements we started feeling stronger and more rejuvenated and by the third day we were back to lifting weights as before.

Exercise is so very important in this world of computers, television and non-athletic activities surrounding us at every turn. I remember when I was a young girl playing baseball, hiking in the woods, playing 'hop-scotch', skip roping, etc. Today you do not see children out playing because they at home hunkered over the television or computer playing games online. Sedentary lifestyles and junk food eating has caused obesity and diabetes to escalate to unprecedented heights in the past few years. We need to get ourselves and our children back to basics and along with exercise have a good natural supplementation of food and herbs to get our bodies back on tract and kept that way. Gandoderma Lucidum is the 'King of Herbs' in the Orient for good reason because it is not only a superior 'herb' but a superior 'food' which helps fine tune and rejuvenate our bodies.
